Overview of the Market Map Tool

StockIntel's Market Map (also commonly known as the Heat Map) shows all companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on a single screen. The tool allows for various filtering options based on Indices and sorting options based on Trading Volumes, Market Capitalization, Percentage Change, Index Points Contribution, Relative Volume, PE Ratio and Dividend Yield.

How to access the tool?

You can access the tool by the left navigational menu or by quickly typing /map shortcut in StockIntel's search bar.

Navigating the Market Map

The chart is color-coded based on the selected Color criteria, allowing you to quickly identify potential actions based on information.

The size of each stock representation reflects its recent session's volume or its market cap (based on selected sorting), giving you a clear perspective on the relative scale of different companies within the index.

Default View

The default view shows KSE ALL share index (PSX's index with all shares listed on the exchange). The default size of the rectangles depict the volume for most recent trading session while the default colour depicts the 1 Day percentage Change of each listed company for the session.

Filtering the Market Map

The Market Map can be filtered by Indices listed on the PSX. All indices active on the Exchange will be listed and can be applied as filters.

To apply the filter simply use the first dropdown menu just above the chart to choose the Index you wish to analyse.

Sorting the Market Map

Users can apply various sorting options to customise the Market Map according to their preferences.

Sort by Color Change Metric:
