What is the Off Market Transactions Tool?

PSX Off Market Transactions Data also known as NDM Transactions

Updated this week

Overview of the PSX Off Market Transactions Tool

Off-market transactions on the PSX, also known as Negotiated Deal Market (NDM) transactions, refer to the private trade of stocks and securities. Investors typically opt for these transactions when they want to sell or buy a large number of shares without significantly impacting the public market price. These deals are negotiated directly between parties rather than through the open order book of the exchange. (Read about What are Off Market Transaction?)

What Types of Data Are Available?

The PSX Off-Market Transactions tool is divided into two key sections, each offering a unique perspective on these private deals:

These are often large-volume private transactions, where PSX brokers facilitate deals on behalf of their institutional or high-net-worth clients.

  • PSX Client to Financial Institution Transactions: This tab focuses on transactions occurring directly between a client and a financial institution, such as a brokerage firm or a bank. In these instances, the client deals directly with the institution, bypassing a third-party intermediary for that specific trade.
